On “Brodivý potok” stream not far from “Trojstátí”, food brooks were created in the past, which gather food from mown meadows and distribute it to freshwater pearl mussels. But water in the stream has gradually found another way and started leaving the stream bed before getting into the brooks. Together with low flow rate, this has eventually meant the brooks ran totally dry. On that account we have created a barrage which directs water back to the stream bed. It will be necessary to keep monitoring bank erosion to avoid recurrence of the problem.
